The Rick Haleys

My Dad, Rick Haley Sr. spent 55 years photographing hundreds of Nashville Artists. He also has an extensive selection of photos of Japan, including Mt. Fuji and the filming of Shogun with Richard Chamberlain. His photos also document the best of the American military.

These photos have never before been seen by the world. Now, the time has come! The first book to be released is the Nashville Collection. Soon after will follow the Japan Collection and the Military Collection.

With over two thousand pictures of Johnny Cash alone, the possibility of an extensive collection of performance photos and candid shots of Johnny Cash is looming large! I had many great adventures with my father on his shoots, from meeting Elvis outside Studio B, Marty Robbins at the Grand Old Opry, to Christmas at our house with Skeeter Davis, and playing on the set of Shogun with Samari Swords!

Dad left me all the film, contact sheets and photos, and I am honored to be able to bring them to you in this series of books.
